How to move group chats from WhatsApp to Signal?
There are some pretty easy steps to do so. Follow it
- First, make sure you have installed Signal on your Smartphone and sign up for their service. Also, create a unique four-digit pin. It literally takes minutes.
- Make sure to give the required permission for Signal to work seamlessly.
- Once Installed and sign up for their service. You will get a screen as below.
- Now click the three dots at the top right corner.
- Click New Group. You can see the contacts of your friends.
- Signal needs at least one person to be added to create a group.
- After selecting the contact. Click on the Right arrow at the right bottom of the app.
- It will ask for the group name. once that done.
- Click create. Your Signal group is created.
- Now to add your old WhatsApp group members to the signal group. First Make sure your WhatsApp group members are already installed and sign up to Signal.
- Now open the group which you have created in Signal. Click on the three dots at the top right corner.
- Select Group settings
- Toggle group link to on
- Now share the URL Which you have copied from Signal to your WhatsApp group.
- Ask the group members to join by clicking the link to signal group.
- That's it. Your Signal group is ready.
